Transit Upgrades For Downtown Seattle

Seattle commuters know the challenges of standstill traffic, long lines for buses and disconnected confusing bike lanes.

King County Metro Transit announced that this fall it will be increasing their service hours by 88,000 on more than 50 routes. Read about the routes affected and how the city is paying for this additional service on one of our favorite blogs Curbed!

In other good news for commuters the Seattle City Council announced plans to start connecting the bike lanes in downtown Seattle by the end of 2019. As it is now not all bike lanes connect which means bikers have to move from bike lanes into regular traffic; dangerous for bikers and frustrating for drivers.
