What made you decide to join Metropolist?

“A friend introduced me, and once I met the folks there, I knew it was a place I can learn and grow, among honest and supportive colleagues.”
“Metropolist is a challenging, nurturing and supportive family of colleagues who hone their craft daily as well as demonstrate their high character.”
“I have learned a lot in my brief time at Metropolist, and am learning every day from my wonderful and supportive colleagues; I am reminded every day of my mission to be of service to my clients, and to seek out every opportunity to learn and to be at my best and most valuable. I see in my successful and experienced colleagues the continued desire to learn, and to help their clients, and I am inspired more and more.”

What do you love most about the Seattle area?

“What I love most about Seattle is the (mostly) clear, bright skies, the variety of natural environments, and the variety of people with varied backgrounds.”

What is your favorite house style and why?

“The style of home I am most fascinated by is midcentury modern – it is open and airy, the structure is often exposed, often get great natural light, and have great warmth and feeling, with natural materials like wood, brick and stone. They also often have vivid, colorful finishes and furniture.”

What matters to you most when you are working with your clients?

“I want to serve my clients by using my architectural background, life experience and desire to serve in order to practically help them achieve their real estate dreams, whether that is finding their dream home, transitioning to a different home due to a life change, or finding investment properties.”

What makes you feel successful as a Real Estate Broker?

“Seeing my clients’ excitement and helping them achieve their dreams makes me excited and fulfilled in serving them as a REALTOR®.”

When you are enjoying free time what do you enjoy doing?

“When I have free time, I am usually visiting new places, like the rainforests and beaches in the PNW or venturing abroad to Japan. I also enjoy working with my hands, mainly in ceramics, where I enjoy creating tiles or functional sculptural objects. When spending time with family and friends, I like to cook together, play music together, or go out for karaoke!”

Do you have any specific area that you specialize in or love to feature and why?

“I love West Seattle for the variety of natural settings, house styles, and the expansive views of mountains, the sound, and the beachfront. West Seattle has a relaxed garden suburb feel, a bit more mellow than Seattle’s more urban areas, while remaining very close to those more kinetic urban areas. West Seattle also has a variety of neighborhoods, with some that are more compact and insular, while others are more open, with sound, territorial or mountain views. West Seattle also includes an eclectic range of house styles including craftsman, brick traditional, and midcentury modern, among others.”

What inspired you to start your career in Real Estate?

“I want to use my architectural background and life experience to help people on their home journey. My background in architecture has given me the skills to holistically balance building design abstract concepts with functional and technical requirements. I have worked in varied environments at various scales, with a diverse group of colleagues, all while working through a process to go from conception to completion. I am honored to apply all that I have learned over the years to have a hand in the biggest investment of most peoples’ lives by providing the necessary education, guidance and most importantly, a process to help people confidently make decisions for themselves. In this way, they can focus on what is important to them, and have some fun while we do it!”
