Your best real estate resources stem from your relationships.
Co-founder of Metropolist, Jennifer Nelson, shares about her best real estate resources and how they bring value to every transaction.
Part of the benefit of having worked in this incredible career for 15 years now is the team I have managed to accumulate.
This team includes folks like plumbers, electricians, roofers, general contractors, handy folk, interior designers, attorneys, window washers, house cleaners, hardwood floor folks, and more.
Why does this matter?
In two words: more value
When I go to a listing appointment I will likely have a list of improvements for the owners to consider about to get their home ready for market.
If I can follow this with tried-and-true folks I know and work with regularly. Those who can get these tasks done for my owners, I am far more valuable as a broker to them.
Even more, I can manage the process.
Case in point: $100k over list, anyone?
I recently lined up a home staging service, exterior/interior painter, landscaper, window cleaner and home cleaning service for my clients.
The owners ended up selling that property for $100k more than what we listed it for and were thrilled.
I always bring that praise back to my team, because, without them, the results of this sale would be different.
So, who is on your team?
If you dont already have a stellar list of resources you can recommend, get one. It will assist you in standing out from your competition and bring enormous value to your clients.
